Coroner's Seek Public's Help in Finding Deceased Man's Family

Authorities are looking for any of 47-year-old James Ross Clark's relatives. He was found dead in Lake Gregory on March 30.

San Bernardino County Coroner officials are asking the public’s help in finding the family of a man found dead in Crestline.

Deputy corners identified James Ross Clark, 47, by his fingerprints but his family has yet to be found. He was found about 7:30 a.m. on March 30 by bystanders in shallow water on Lake Gregory’s north shore off of Lake Drive, officials said.

Police describe Clark as 5-foot-10 with reddish brown hair and a mustache. He was He had a skull tattoo with fangs that covered his upper left arm, officials said.

Deputies said he had been wearing a royal blue Inland Empire Pony Baseball jersey with the number 23 on the back and tan cutoff shorts. Clark may have a brother named Craig Stephen Clark, officials said.

The Coroner Division and Twin Peaks Sheriff's Station ask anyone with information on his family to call the San Bernardino County Coroner Division at (909) 387-2978.
