Four helicopters landed outside Loma Linda University Medical Center on Tuesday afternoon.
But they weren't there bringing patients needing immediate care. They were there to lift the spirits of those who were already there.
It was part of the 13th annual Cops for Kids Fly-In for children at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital.
Helicopters from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, Anaheim Police Department, Riverside Police Department and California Aviation Services (contractor to Fontana Police) landed on the north lawn as motorcycle officers from Riverside and San Bernardino counties pulled up in front of them, meeting some of the patients at the hospital.
Besides the tours of the vehicles, there was also a toy handout for the children.
