Live Talk Show- "Change is in the Air with Nicole Smith"

For the last eight months, we have brought a diversity of topics, our mission was to bring "HOPE", "FAITH", "LOVE" and to shed light at the end of the tunnel to bring encouragement to our listeners. I, thank you, in advance for you continue support as we move into our new time slot-Tuesdays @ 4pm. God bless, Nicole Smith

Special guests-Jane Bingham and Miranda Finn are entwined together for the same cause, "The Beautiful and Bald Movement" to women and children across the country and around the world, who live with hair loss due to chemo, alopecia, Trichotillomania or any autoimmune disease. Their main force initially was to convince two major toy companies to produce bald dolls in support of children living with hair loss. Their mission was to bring encouragement and reduce the sigma of hair loss in women and children, to face the world, head high and with a smile. Showing that true beauty comes from within and is not dependent upon your hair or lack of hair. Jane Bingham is the founder. http://www.facebook.com/BeautifulandBaldBarbie

Miranda Finn is a 12-year old singer/ songwriter who recently released her first EP in which she writes, co-writes, and performs her original music. Miranda Finn has been making waves ever since her original song, “Maybe I Can Change This World,” was selected to be the theme song for the Bald Barbie movement. Two women affected by cancer started the Bald Barbie movement. They wanted their daughters to have a doll they could relate to and began mobilizing on Facebook to get Mattel to produce it. They succeeded last fall—and Miranda Finn’s song helped galvanize support for their movement. www.youtube.com/MirandaFinn also features videos of “Maybe I Can Change This World” along with other of Miranda’s outstanding compositions. www.MirandaFinn.net.

If you want to know what "sustainablity" is really about, come hear Rosa Koire at RedlandsRead More Townhall on May 23, 6:30 pm at the American Legion Hall, 814 W. Colton Avenue. "Sustainability" is UN Agenda 21.

I have shopped at Staples for years and have yet gotten a so-called reward. Why the change of heartRead More now? The school supplies are overpriced anyway. I get things really inexpensively at Walmart right before school starts. There is no limit as to how many things one can buy like there is at Staples.

Usually I'd start with how teachers should be paid in line with their students grades, but for nowRead More I'll just suggest going to the .99 cent stores. You can get everything from 100 packs of #2 pencils to college ruled notebooks and binders, to pens and highlighters. We go there weekly and send boxes of school supplies, crayons and coloring books to our troops in Afghanistan to help them befriend the locals. The biggest score is cans of party string that usually go for $5. They spray it into a room and the streamers will hang on any tripwires without setting off the bomb. And try asking the store manager if corporate might be willing to throw in 2 for the price of one or a bakers dozen on highly stocked items if you can get several other teaches to also shop there. It never hurts to ask.
