A panel of three Loma Linda University Medical Center physicians will talk about the latest trends in breast cancer treatment during a free forum Wednesday.
The event is part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
According to a news release, the panel will include Dr. Sharon Lum, Medical Director and Breast Surgeon, Breast Health Center; Dr. Yuan Yuan, Attending Physician, Medical Oncology; and Dr. Cherie Colbert, Physician, Radiology.
“Breast cancer is something we fight every day, so it’s vital that women and men of all walks of life understand the importance of early detection,” said Dr. Lum in the release. “This forum is just one way we as doctors can raise awareness and continue the fight against breast cancer.”
The event, which is open to the public, begins at 6 p.m. at the Faculty Medical Offices, 11370 Anderson Street, Suite 1700 in Loma Linda.
