GRAB AN UMBRELLA: It may be spring, but this weather is decidedly winter-like. The Weather Channel is reporting that the high today will be 58 - the average high this time of year is 70 degrees - with an overnight low of 45. It will rain on and off throughout the morning, afternoon and evening, with winds at around 10 m.p.h.

WAY TO GO!: Congratulations are in order for some local high school athletes. Redlands High School junior Addison Carroll and Arrowhead Christian Academy senior Charles Izadoryk were named to All-CIF soccer teams - Division 1 for Carroll, Division 6 for Izadoryk. Just 22 players from each of the divisions are chosen for the seven All-CIF teams.

ANOTHER SOCCER STAR: This week’s Loma Linda Patch Whiz Kid is Redlands East Valley High School student Brad Andrews. The 14-year-old is an accomplished soccer player, playing with the Los Gauchos Soccer Club and coming off of an undefeated fall season. Voted MVP by his teammates - twice! - the key to his success is his intense passion for the game.
ON A ROLL: Some of Loma Linda’s toughest athletes meet every Thursday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. to participate in the Rolling Bears Wheelchair Basketball Association.
