Five Things You Need To Know Today

Today is April 20. Here are a few things you might want to know today.

NICE WEATHER: It looks like we’ll be getting some nice weather today. The National Weather Service expected the day to be partly sunny with a high near 73 degrees. Tonight, they predict a chance of drizzle and patchy fog after 11 p.m. increasing clouds with a low around 52.

CITY MEETING: A reminder that Loma Linda’s Planning Commission will meet tonight at 7 at the council chambers, 25541 Barton Road. They will be discussing a planned move by Nader’s Auto Sales to the city.

EASTER EVENT: Grab your baskets. The Loma Linda Branch Library is scheduled to host an Easter Egg Hunt starting at 4 p.m. Thursday. Children 4 and under begin at 4 p.m. Ages 5-12 start at 4:15 p.m. The library is at 25581 Barton Road in the civic center.

JAPANESE ART: Also at the library, the Teen Anime Club will hold its monthly meeting at 5 p.m. Participation is free and open to ages 13-18, organizers said. Participants watch anime, discuss it with your friends, and practice drawing skills. This month, the group plans to discuss “Romeo and Juliet.”
