CHAMPIONSHIP GAME: It will be a battle of California for a chance to represent the Western Region at the Little League Softball World Series next month in Oregon. Northern California, represented by Gilroy Little League, will face off against Southern California's Westchester-Del Rey Little League from Marina del Rey. The game, which will begin at 6 p.m., will be at Al Houghton Stadium at Little League Western Region Headquarters, 6707 Little League Drive, in San Bernardino. Admission is free.
PERSONAL JOURNEY: The Islamic Community Center of Redlands will host a talk titled "Return to Allah: Deen or Dunya?" at 8 p.m. tonight. Br. Also, Monday will begin the observance of Ramadan by many of the Muslim faith, which calls for fasting from sunrise to sundown.
