Gusting Winds Possible Near Redlands and Loma Linda Through Thursday

Daytime highs in the 60s were expected Wednesday and Thursday in Redlands and Loma Linda. Overnight lows Wednesday could dip below 40, according to the Weather Service.

Gusting winds are possible in and below mountain passes near Redlands Loma Linda through Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

A wind advisory was in effect Wednesday Jan. 2, with northeast to east winds of 20 miles per hour to 30 mph sustained, and gusts 40 mph to 50 mph possible, according to the Weather Service.

"Northeast winds will strengthen late this evening and last through the day Thursday over inland areas of Southern California," the Weather Service advised. "Some of the higher gusts will create hazardous driving conditions for high profile vehicles."
