As global events such as the political sea change in Egypt show, we’re in an era where the collective need to be conscious of, and involved in, the improvement of the world we see is at a generational high.

The charity works to provide a home away from home for families of critically ill and injured children receiving medical treatment at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital and nearby medical facilities.

CCFoSC offers support to parents whose children are going through cancer treatment and its effects. The group consists of families of children and adolescents who are in treatment or have been treated for cancer, children and adolescents currently battling cancer, young cancer survivors, bereaved families, spouses, friends and family of long-term survivors and health care professionals and educators who work with cancer patients and survivors.
