Redlands Senior Center Seeks Kind Hearted Santas

Residents are encouraged to participate in the senior Santa program designed to help seniors who have few resources get needed items for the holidays.

The Redlands Senior Center is looking for some kind-hearted Santas who will donate Christmas gifts for senior citizens living in Redlands and the surrounding communities.

The center is collecting the gifts through Dec. 17. Seniors selected to be recipients are individuals in need who don’t have anyone looking after or visiting them, organizers said. Staff at the center want to provide pajamas, robes, lap blankets, non-skid socks, or other items.

Donations will be accepted from individuals and businesses. Participants in the Senior Santa program can pick up an envelope with the name of a senior at the Redlands Senior Center, 111 W. Lugonia Ave.
