Restaurants to Offer Free Meals for Veteran's Day

We provide a list of eateries found locally that will offer free meals to veterans and active members of the military.

In an effort to offer some thanks to the men and women who have served our country in the armed forces, several restaurants will offer free or discounted meals today, Veteran’s Day.

“To thank America’s heroes for their endless dedication and service, Denny’s is giving away never-ending stacks of its famous buttermilk pancakes to active, inactive and retired military personnel on Monday, Nov. 11,” Denny’s Restaurant’s corporate offices wrote in a news release.

All participating Denny’s restaurants will offer “free all-you-can-eat pancakes, complete with warm maple syrup and whipped butter,” from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to officials. A valid military ID is needed.
