Children Awed by Costume Heros at 2012 Redlands Christmas Block Party

Children were pleased to meet Batman, Catwoman, Spiderman and Supergirl on Saturday at the 15th Annual Christmas Block Party in Redlands.

Organizers at the event handed out boxes of food and gifts for the needy, while folklorico dancers, musicians and the volunteer heros entertained throngs inside and outside the Redlands Community Center on Lugonia Avenue.

The event was 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 15 at 111 W. Lugonia Ave.
