Comedy Festival Draws Crowd to San Bernardino

Free outdoor event included comedians, bands and food trucks.

Area residents ended Saturday's hot day by trying to cool down outside as part of the LOL Comedy Festival in downtown San Bernardino.

Comics and bands entertained a crowd of all ages outside the California Theatre for the Performing Arts, while inside the theater, comedy fans got to see headliner talent, including Ian Bagg, Jay Mohr and Tommy Chong.

And guests got to sample the fares from food trucks Stella Pierre (hot dogs and sandwiches), Don Chow (Asian-Mexican fusion tacos) and Jogasaki (sushi burritos).

The four-day festival will wrap up today with shows inside the theater starring Rita Rudner, Monique Marvez and Bill Bellamy. There will be no outdoor events today.
