Stars to Shine During Museum Event

The San Bernardino County Museum will offer programs in its inflatable StarLab on Aug. 20.

Visitors to the San Bernardino County Museum will have a chance to see stars Aug. 20.

The museum's Education Division will be offering six 30-minute presentations in the StarLab inflatable planetarioum to visitors starting at noon.

“Visitors feel the same awe looking at stars and constellations within the StarLab planetarium as they do looking at the sky,” said Jolene Redvale, the museum’s curator of education, in a news release. “Most people are familiar with Orion and the Big Dipper. At our star shows, visitors will learn how those two constellations fit into the traditions of the Navajo Indian people.”
