The Tornadoes, whose original members grew up in Redlands, performed Friday evening at Surfin' State Street in Redlands.
They did several Creedence Clearwater Revival covers, including Green River, first released in 1969.
They also performed their signature hit, Bustin' Surfboards, released in 1962, which made them world famous. The song was sampled and featured in Quentin Tarantino's 1994 film Pulp Fiction, which became a cult classic.
