Redlands High Student Arrested, Accused of Possessing LSD for Sales

A 17-year-old Redlands High School student was arrested Tuesday May 28 on suspicion of possessing LSD for sales, a city spokesman said Thursday.

Redlands police narcotics investigators made the arrest after officers located an unspecified number of LSD tablets at the boy's home, Redlands spokesman Carl Baker said in a statement.

The teen's name and post-arrest status were not released.

Redlands Police Chief Mark A. Garcia praised narcotics officers and commended members of the community who reported unspecified suspicious activity that led to the arrests.

"We will continue to crack down on the sale of dangerous drugs, especially to the most vulnerable members of our community - our children," Garcia said. "We also encourage residents to partner with us in this effort by reporting all suspicious activity to police."
