AARP Driver Safety Class and Educator Appreciation Promotion at Redlands Senior Center

The classes will take place in July and August.

This July, senior citizens will have the chance to take part in the AARP Driver Safety Class at the Redlands Senior Center.

The class will take place on July 12 and 13, from 1 to 5 p.m. each day. Those wishing to renew their driver’s license through the AARP program must take a separate two day safety class if they have never renewed with AARP before, or if it has been more than three years since their last license renewal.

Registration for the class is $12 for AARP members, $14 for non-members.

AARP is also inviting teachers to attend a driver safety classroom course for $5 during July and August. Participants must register by mail, with materials available at the Redlands Senior Center.

The Redlands Senior Center is at 111 W. Lugonia Ave. For more information, call 909-798-7579.
