Rain To Taper Off Monday Morning

Sunshine should peek hrough the clouds later in the morning.

The National Weather Service projects Monday will be partly sunny, with a high near 62 and light winds in San Bernardino, according to the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin.

A winter storm warning was issued for the San Bernardino Mountains through 3 a.m. Monday, Meterologist Jamie Moker said.

Moker said he expected elevations above 6,500 feet to get 12 to 18 inches of snow.

The California Highway Patrol reported heavy rain and hail in the Cajon Pass on Sunday.

According to the Bulletin, Sue Hood, San Bernardino fire dispatch supervisor, reported that trees had fallen in Loma Linda and Redlands but no injuries were reported.
