Chelsea Defeats Bayern in Munich: Redlands Gripped by Penalties Drama

A tense 120-minute soccer match followed by decisive penalties gripped viewers at the Royal Falconer British Pub in Redlands, as Chelsea FC won its first-ever Champions League title on the home field of their opponent, Bayern Munich.

Update 3:42 p.m. Patrons at the Royal Falconer in Redlands witnessed two tense hours of soccer capped by whipsaw penalties drama Saturday afternoon that earned Chelsea FC, favorite team of the pub's late owner, its first-ever Champions League title.

Some of the people in the Falconer, anxious Bayern and Chelsea fans alike, found the decisive penalty shootout difficult to endure.
