Children Learn Safety at Loma Linda University Event

More than 1,100 children came out to the 26th Annual Children's Day at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital.

Rain did not deter families from attending the 26th Annual Children’s Day at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital today.

More than 1,100 children came out to the free event, sponsored by Farmer Boys. Attendees were taken through various demonstrations on fire and water safety and different activities teaching them about hospital and health awareness.

Several hospital employees and Loma Linda University students volunteered their time throughout the day working the booths and activities for the kids.

Loma Linda Fire Department set up their fire safety trailer and children got to see the different equipment and instruments used by emergency workers.
