'Crowded, Busy' at New Corner Bakery Cafe Opening on Orange in Redlands

The first 100 guests in line at 7 a.m. Monday were eligible for a commemorative Corner Bakery Cafe travel mug and free daily refills of hand-roasted coffee for one year, according to a spokeswoman.

Opening day at the new Corner Bakery Cafe in Redlands was "busy" and "crowded," manager Andy Taylor said Monday in a phone interview.

The first 100 guests in line at 7 a.m. Sept. 24 were eligible for a commemorative Corner Bakery Cafe travel mug and free daily refills of hand-roasted coffee for one year, according to a spokeswoman.

Each Corner Bakery Cafe is billed as a "fast casual restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The made-to-order food is delivered fresh to your table, and with a price point of $0.99-$8.59."

The new location, at 402-2D N. Orange St., is the first Corner Bakery Cafe in Redlands and and it is the 37th in Southern California.
