'Dia de la Familia' for Hispanic Heritage Month at the Frugal Frigate in Redlands

The event is planned noon to 3 p.m. Saturday Sept. 8 at 9 N. Sixth St.

A local historian with Inland Mexican Heritage plans to present a "Dia de la Familia" at the Frugal Frigate Bookstore in Redlands to kick off a month of events celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month.

The event is planned noon to 3 p.m. Saturday Sept. 8 at in Redlands.

There will be a telling of "The Barefoot Brown Boy," stories of growing up in Redlands by A.G. Vasquez, other stories, and crafts for kids and families.
