On Tuesday, Loma Linda University Behavioral Medicine Center will host the 4th annual Seeds of Hope dinner, to raise money for programs and services at the center.

The event is at The Mitten Building, 345 N. 5th St. in Redlands. Registration and a patient exhibit will begin at 5:15 p.m., and the program is from 6 to 7 p.m.

At the event, young people will give their powerful testimonials about how they found healing at Loma Linda University Behavioral Medicine Center, which specializes in treatment for mental illness and addiction. The fundraising dinner helps raise much needed support to give hope and healing to those in our community and beyond.

The fundraising dinner is free and open to the public, although space is limited. Reservations must be made by Monday by contacting Pauline Deeb at 909-558-3554.

On Nov. 4, a new, professionally installed water feature will be revealed and dedicated at the PossAbilities and Ponditat Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.

The event is from 10 to 10:30 a.m. on Loma Linda University Medical Center East Campus, near the west entrance of the Ambulatory Services Building, located at 11406 Loma Linda Drive.

PossAbilities and LLUMC East Campus were recently chosen to receive a professionally installed water feature through the Ponditat for Humanity organization. PossAbilities and East Campus were cited for efforts to incorporate a healing environment into clinical care for patients.

Ponditat for Humanity is sponsored by the International Professional Pond Companies Association in Georgia, supported by manufacturers and contractors from throughout the country. The Pond Digger, a local business, designed and installed the water feature.

We look forward to seeing you at these events!
