Gas Prices Rising in San Bernardino County Due to Continuing Middle East Tensions: AAA

Reported by Patch Editor Guy McCarthy:

The average price of gasoline in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has risen 6 cents over the past week to $3.89 a gallon, including a rise of 2 cents since Monday Sept. 9, a spokeswoman for the Auto Club of Southern California said Tuesday morning.

Rising pump prices are due to increasing oil prices stemming from continued tensions in the Middle East, Elaine Beno of the Auto Club said in a phone interview.

The statewide average as of Tuesday Sept. 10 was $3.90 a gallon, Beno said.
