VIDEO/PHOTOS: Thousands Celebrate Hangar 24's 4th Anniversary in Redlands

A volunteer Saturday afternoon estimated there were several thousand people at the celebration, many were lined up waiting to get in, and more were arriving on foot, by limo and motor coach bus.

Hangar 24 Craft Brewery was the place to be Saturday afternoon in east Redlands.

They came from all over Southern California for multiple food vendors, a line-up of three bands, special beer releases, and camaraderie.

"This is great," Jesse Heredia, 43, of Alhambra, who came with members of the band Strangebrew. "Great group, great group. They come out here once a month on Wednesday nights at Hangar 24.

"This is my first year for the anniversary. It's great. . . The atmosphere, the music, the great beer, what more could you ask for?"

Strangebrew played at noon. Kelly McGuire came on later. Cracker was scheduled to perform 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Admission was $5 before 3 p.m. $10 after.

The event was scheduled to continue until 8 p.m. Hangar 24 Craft Brewery is on Sessums Drive across from Redlands Municipal Airport.
