The condensed workweek has helped the university reduce its energy consumption, while allowing the public more time to access university services during expanded hours Monday through Thursday.

In addition to the Friday closures, the campus will also be closed Monday, Sept. 2, in observance of Labor Day. The university will return to its traditional five-day work schedule on Monday, Sept. 9.

Cal State San Bernardino is conducting a 10-week summer school session that runs through Sept. 5, as well as two accelerated six-week sessions; the first runs through July 29, and the second session runs July 30-Sept. 5.

The fall quarter will begin on Thursday, Sept. 19.
