Just a passing thought on the legacy we are leaving America's grandchildren of the future!

How will future generations remember this generation of today's young and single voters?

What a legacy we will leave future generations. We will be remembered as the generation that turned America over to the Liberal/Progressive movement. It may have started with Teddy Roosevelt, given its real first big push by Woodrow Wilson, but this generation -- our generation -- turned the nation over to this movement. How's that working out? The grandchildren of today's young and single voters will someday look at their elders and wonder "what the hell were you thinking." We look back at our parents and grandparents and see folks who led us through a Great Depression and World War II and we wonder what kind of stuff they were made of that helped them get that job done so well. They did their job, then turned things over to the Baby Boomers and their offspring, who are in the process of screwing up everything.

The Democrat Party national stragegy is to focus on certain groups and push to get an overwhelming majority of voter support among those certain groups, particularly those who live in or near major metropolitan areas. This way, despite conservative majorities in a majority of cities across the nation, even a majority of cities in very Democrat states like California, the overwhelming margin of Democrat voters in the metropolitan areas give the Democrats the overall majorities in enough states in order to win national elections and keep control of the U.S. Senate. This is an effective strategy and is why Barack Obama has won two national elections and the Democrats have maintained control of the U.S. Senate for six years. An example of how this strategy works is Michigan, a state in which Romney won 60% of the voter precincts and Obama only 40%, but Obama carried his precincts by such overwhelming majorities he carried the entire state. This was also true in several other states. Romney carried more districts, but President Obama won his districts by greater margins, margins that gave him the entire state, despite Romney winning more districts.

As it stands now, our children will receive a lesser America than the one we received, but it does not have to be this way if we restore the principles that made her great, free and prosperous.
