Loma Linda Man Accused of Armed Robbery in Rancho Cucamonga

A Loma Linda man was held in custody Tuesday on suspicion of pulling an armed robbery last week at a store in Rancho Cucamonga, according to inmate records.

The alleged crime occurred Wednesday May 29 in the 9200 block of Archibald Avenue near East 7th Street, deputies said in a statement.

"The suspect, who was wearing gloves and a mask, entered the store, pointed a handgun at the employees and patrons and demanded their money," deputies said.

The man got about $300 cash off the employees and customers, left the store and ran to his vehicle, which was parked about a block away, deputies said. A witness followed the suspect to his vehicle, then continued to follow the suspect in his vehicle for a couple blocks.

Investigators identified the suspect as Trajan Paul Green, 42, of Loma Linda and arrested him about 7:30 p.m. Thursday May 30 at his home, according to deputies and inmate records.

Green was being held Tuesday June 4 on $200,000 bail. He had a court appearance scheduled in Rancho Cucamonga and he was being housed at Central Detention Center in San Bernardino.
