A Moreno Valley man was arrested Sunday night after being spotted by witnesses taking metal clamps from Loma Linda city tractors.
Juventino Lopez, 34, was arrested after San Bernardino County Sheriff's Deputies positively identified him as the person seen taking the items from the tractors, which were parked on Van Leuven just east of Poplar about 10:10 p.m.
Witnesses told police they saw a Hispanic male exit a four-wheel drive truck, walk over to the tractors and take items. He then returned to his truck. Police searched Lopez's vehicle, where they found the clamps.
Lopez was charged with possession of stolen property and booked. He is free awaiting a court hearing.
