Mother's Day Brunch Guide

Celebrate mom with champagne and delicious food

A longstanding Mother’s Day tradition is to treat her to a lovely brunch, and there are several restaurants across the Inland Empire that offer exactly that.

High above the 10 freeway is the Pomona Valley Mining Company, which offers a “miner’s style” champagne brunch. The hot station includes carved ham and prime rib, crepes, ribs, eggs benedict, teriyaki chicken, and more, while the seafood station features iced shrimp and snow crab legs. Fresh fruit, salads, a Mexican station, pancakes, waffles and made to order pasta round out the spread. On Mother’s Day, the omelet station will not be in service. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For reservations and prices, call 909-623-3515. 1777 Gillette Road, Pomona.

With gorgeous views of the area, the Castaway is a brunch destination known around the region. The special Mother’s Day brunch features made to order omelets, fresh seafood, carving stations, sushi, pasta, breakfast delicacies and more. The dessert spread is vast, with a chocolate fondue, cakes, pies and tarts. Unlimited champagne and fruit juices are served. The brunch lasts from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a cost of $32.95 for adults and $15.95 for children between the ages of 3 to 10. Reservations can be made online or by calling 909-881-1502. 670 Kendall Dr., San Bernardino.
