Loma Linda University's Campus Store offers something for everyone, from Loma Linda University apparel to cookbooks. Employees are on hand to help shoppers find small gifts and select cards from the store's large collection. If there's a nurse or doctor on your list, take advantage of the wide range of practical medical supplies available - blood pressure cuffs, stethoscopes, penlights and diagnostic sets. Go green with gifts from Clark's Nutrition. The store sells aluminum water bottles with its logo, as well as reusable totes and apparel (sweatshirts and T-shirts). Gift baskets can be made from fresh organic produce, artesian water and Newman's Own products. The store also features a wide range of books and magazines on alternative medicine, fitness, vitamins and overall heath. Stater Bros. sells dozens of different gift cards, saving a trip to multiple locations. Cards come in several denominations for establishments such as Subway, Toys R Us, Olive Garden, Kohl's, iTunes, Applebee's and Starbucks. Gift cards for Stater Bros. are also available, as are select cards for specific items sold in stores - including jumbo turkey dinners, spiral ham dinners, and prime rib dinners. Rite Aid is open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and features the average holiday drugstore fare: fragrance and makeup sets, tins of butter cookies, bath products and lots of candy. For the kids, doll sets, race cars and other toys will be 50 percent off. Stocking stuffers as low as $1 each are available, from chocolate Santas to Pez dispensers. Need a gag gift? Loma Linda is home to a number of restaurants from across the dining spectrum, including Napoli Italian Restaurant, Kool Kactus Cafe, Angelo's, Mr. Kebab, A Healthier Las Brasas, Lupe's, Farmer Boys and the recently opened Cuca's. For the foodie, either call the restaurant of your choice to ensure they are open and selling gift certificates, or slip an IOU into a card, making it good for dinner for two, an appetizer and wine, or just dessert - whichever you prefer.
