Redlands Man Arrested, Accused of Selling Marijuana to Local High School Students

A 24-year-old man was arrested in downtown Redlands on suspicion of possessing marijuana for sale shortly before 1 p.m. Wednesday May 29, a city spokesman said Thursday.

Police arranged to meet Christian A. Martinez, of Redlands, "after receiving a report that he was selling marijuana to local high school students," Redlands spokesman Carl Baker said in a statement.

According to inmate records, Martinez was arrested at 12:50 p.m. May 29 in the vicinity of 340 N. Eureka St., a block west of Orange Street and just north of Redlands Boulevard.

Martinez was booked on suspicion of HS11360(a), defined as sale or transportation of marijuana, a felony. He was released on unspecified bail at 5:20 a.m. Thursday May 30.
