Community Corner

Healthy Loma Linda visioning workshop

Being North America's only Blue Zone, the City of Loma Linda and Loma Linda University are partnering with the countywide Healthy Communities initiative to re-energize a long-standing commitment to health.  As part of this effort, Healthy Loma Linda will be hosting the first community visioning workshop in November.

Main topics and goals will include discussion around past and current City efforts in regards to health and quality of life here in Loma Linda; opportunities, difficulties, and successes that our community and others in the region experience today; areas that we can challenge and improve on; and the many unique opportunities specific to Loma Linda that can further push us to the forefront of Healthy Communities.

Please join the Loma Linda community in planning and visioning for a Healthy Loma Linda future together.  This first workshop will address our community health, our built environment, and what we can do to retain and elevate the quality of life within our community and the region.
