• Acceptable media: All two- and three-dimensional art.


• Entries must be original works by living individual artists 18 or over. Copies of otherartists’ work, prints, photos or computer-generated works will not be accepted.


• Minute in scale vs. life-sized. For practicality, follows the general 1/6th scale:o Maximum image-size for paintings – 25 square inches.o Maximum outside edge of frame – 50 square inches.o Sculpture should fit inside an 8-inch cube, including the base.


• High in quality. Work should exemplify fine art demonstrating a mastery ofcomposition, color, value, etc.


• Mats, frames and mountings to be delicate and in proportion to work andprofessional in appearance.• All hung work to be ready for hanging with wire and screw eyes or d-rings only.Frames with easel backs not accepted, and work must be neatly covered on theback with paper.• All entries will be handled with care. However, Jack’s Fine Art & Framing will not beresponsible for any loss or damage. Your signature means you accept these rulesand grant permission to Jack’s Art & Framing to reproduce artwork for advertisingpurposes.• All entries must be for sale. A 30% commission will be charged on sales.Awards: Cash awards for Best of Show, 1st Place, 2nd Place and three HonorableMentions. Amount of award to be determined by total entry fees.Fees: $5 per entry; a limit of five (5) entries. Make checks payable to Jack’s Fine Art.Fees are non-refundable.Labels: Attach labels to the back or bottom of each entry stating the title, artist, mediumand price.Judge -Sara Parker: Sara has been a professional artist for more than twenty years.For twelve years, she was a successful muralist and trompe l’oeill artist in the Chicagoarea. Two of her more recent mural commissions are the restoration of a 70-year oldWPA mural at an elementary school and a large mural for the Bank of Hemet branch inBeaumont.Her work has been featured in San Francisco Magazine, Chicago Home & Garden,Romantic Homes Magazine and This Old house Journal.On smaller canvasses, Sara paints in all media, primarily in oils, concentrating on stilllifes, landscapes and figures. She also does commission paintings, murals and teachesworkshops. Sara serves as a juror and/or judge for art shows, the most recent being theLoma Linda University Arts Festival.Important Dates;


• November 17th: Deadline to have art, registration forms & fees to Jack’s Fine Art.


• December 8th: 1st day of show. Pick up unaccepted art. Reception & Awards 6-8.


• January 4th: Last day of show.


• January 5th: Pick up unsold work.
