Redlands Winery Donates Portion of Proceeds to City's 125th Celebration

The following was submitted for publication by the city of Redlands:

The City of Redlands quasquicentennial celebration received its first donation from sales of two 125th Anniversary label wines from local business State Street Winery.

State Street Winery owners Robin and Janet Harter are donating 10 percent of the proceeds from each bottle of the 125th Anniversary wines – a merlot and a sauvignon blanc, sold to the City’s 125th Anniversary celebration. The wines sell for $25 a bottle for the merlot and $20 a bottle for the sauvignon blanc. On July 15, the Harters presented Mayor Pro Tem Paul Foster with a check for $653, representing proceeds from the first three months of wine sales.

Both wines are bottled locally at the winery at 404 E. State St. using Washington grapes. The label incorporating the City’s 125th Anniversary logo was designed by Richard Pennington of Pennington Designsat 19 E. Citrus Ave.
