A Calimesa woman fighting Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer appeared on The Ellen Show and the episode aired earlier this week.
"Cancer has been not about what I've lost," Sarah Amento of Calimesa told host Ellen Degeneres. "But about what I've gained. And it's been multitudes of love. It's been an amazing journey."
Amento is a young mother in her 30s, Ashley Dishner told Patch in December. Amento and her husband have five children, ages 18, 11, 7, 5 and 1 year old.
Degeneres presented Amento with gifts for her children, and a check for $10,000 from J.C. Penney.
