Dark Isle Pipe Band Getting Ready for Hangar 24 St. Patrick's Day Festivities

The Dark Isle Pipe Band's schedule this weekend includes three 40-minute sets at Hangar 24 Craft Brewery in Redlands, at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday March 16.

The Dark Isle Pipe Band, with members based in Yucaipa, Beaumont and Upland, are scheduled to appear during St. Patrick's Day festivities this weekend in Redlands, Banning, Palm Desert and Riverside.

The band members, who also call themselves the Scottish Rejects, have been playing together in the Inland Empire several years, Tress Maksimuk of Yucaipa said.

"We're all from here, we have some of that heritage," Maksimuk said in a phone interview Tuesday. "We started about five years ago at Liam's in Colton."
