When Will Enough Finally Be Enough For You?

First, it was Fast & Furious. Then, it was Benghazi. Then came the news of DOJ’s unwarranted seizure of both AP’s and reporters’ business and personal land line and cell phone records.  And now we find out that the IRS fully admits targeting the Tea Party and other conservative groups while giving liberal groups a total pass. And to top it all off, the IRS has also admitted to illegally providing liberal media operatives with conservatives’ confidential financial and personal tax information, in blatant violation of 26 U.S.C. 6103.

It would be one thing if these stories were simply about the whistle blowers. But the most frightening commonality within all of these scandals is the blatant denial of any knowledge of these acts, actions, and potential criminal acts. President Obama, Hillary Clinton and Attorney General Eric Holder, the very people who swore to us they would provide “the most transparent and rule of law government” in history, all have or are presently claiming, even testifying under oath, that they had/have absolutely no clue about the inner workings within their administrations. Not to mention the associated acts and highly questionable actions of direct subordinates at the highest levels within our government. One after another, each has effectively applied “the Sergeant Shultz” defense to every line of questioning. So if all three of the most powerful members of the Executive Branch are truly operating within such a broad cloud of plausible deniability… Then we can only be left with four possibilities.

  1. All three knew exactly what was going on and either had a direct role in the decisions or signed off on them before and/or after the fact.
  2. The operational standard of the senior staff and direct subordinates within the Executive Branch, throughout Obama’s first term to the present, has actually been that of a shadow government. Autonomous actions and totally independent decisions of and at the highest levels were made without even the slightest executive knowledge or oversight. All while at the same time enveloping both the elected and appointed holders of those Executive offices within a bubble of ignorance.
  3. Each of these officials is the most incompetent, complacent, gullible and self-absorbed human(s) ever elected or appointed to any level of government in history.
  4. They all didn’t care, had their own selfish agenda(s), they didn’t want to know and made it clear they were not to be informed about any of it, by anyone, at any time, for any reason.

If there is even one other logical conclusion, I for one would really like to hear it! Because just the thought of any of the alternatives can only be held as intolerable by every free thinking American, regardless of party or philosophy.

So even if you don’t care about the gun walking or death of a U.S. Border Agent by one of those very guns. Even if you don’t care that a U.S. Ambassador, Navy SEALs and others were refused repeated calls for help to die at the hands of terrorists. Even if you don’t care about the unwarranted seizure of AP and reporters phone records. Think about this…

The IRS is the primary enforcement body for Obama Care.  The only tenant of Obama Care to be fully implemented to date is the hiring of +/-16,000 new IRS agents, strictly to deal with Obama Care tax collection and enforcement provisions. Some but certainly not all of which can be found at: http://www.irs.gov/uac/Affordable-Care-Act-Tax-Provisions. Now consider that one or more of the ever growing sections within the ACA (that had to be passed before we could really know what was in it) allows the IRS access to every American’s medical insurance, as well as financial records… Given how easily and freely just such information was leaked for purely political reasons… Even if the leak(s) were perpetrated by only one or two low level IRS employees… This single violation of American’s highest trust proves without a doubt that any such database is far from secure from prying eyes.  All such medical records are and should remain a matter of constitutionally protected privacy between  patients and doctors.

And finally… Have you considered that Obama will be out of office in a couple of years, and you may not want the next administration to have access to both your financial and medical insurance records? After all, just like that list of gun permit holders, what’s to stop a similar politically motivated cubical worker from leaking the names and addresses of every woman who had an abortion? Or the names and addresses of every child under 18 years of age provided with birth control by a school? And yes, if you read the above referenced provisions, more than one factually allows access to just such data one way or another.

Now I can just hear all the chattering keyboards ripping out Bush, Bush, Bush, Bush, Bush, Bush, Bush, Bush, Bush, Bush, Bush, Bush, Bush, Bush for everything from killing Cock Robin to scaring Mrs. O’Leary’s cow into knocking over the lantern. So in case you missed it, FYI… Bush has been out of office for six years and Obama is well into his second term.

Hey, it’s not like anyone is asking you to join the NRA, wear a t-shirt stating “GLENN BECK WAS RIGHT”, change political parties, or even start listening to Rush Limbaugh.  But simply to ask yourself the question; just what exactly is it going to take for you to call and write your elected officials and tell them enough is enough? And to demand they vote for or otherwise publicly support fully independent investigations, and let the consequences fall where they may. If not for your own sense of what's right and wrong happening within our government… Do it for the children who will inherit the nation we leave behind.
