Ryan's the Pick!

US Rep. Paul Ryan, a gutsy budget guru willing to tackle the deficit, is an awesome pick for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

US Rep Paul Ryan is exactly the man we need to help save our country from the damage Obama and his liberal buddies have inflicted on our country.

And here is the video clip proving it: http://blog.heritage.org/2010/02/26/video-paul-ryan-destroys-obamacares-deficit-reduction-claims/

In 2010, Ryan, the US House budget guru, schooled and scolded Obama on the disaster Obamacare is to American coffers. In the video, Ryan shreds Obama’s arguments that his brand of socialized medicine would not only fail to control costs, but would add yet another unnecessary entitlement.

And that’s just the beginning. Ryan has consistently been one of the few Republicans willing to step into the media trenches and fight for conservative solutions. His budget is the only one balancing our budget. I wish his budget would have been a little bit tougher on reforming entitlements, but that’s just me.

I’ll take Ryan. At least he has the guts do what’s needed. (The Associated Press says Ryan is the pick, so I’ll take the AP at its word.)

I did not think Mitt Romney had the wherewithal to pick Ryan, one of the few politicians in this country who has outlined the conservative solutions needed to reverse decades of budget irresponsibility. I thought Romney was going to pick US Sen. Rob Portman, a solid choice, but as a conservative, I would have been more excited about milquetoast.

Before Ryan, I was going to do my bit as a Redlands Tea Party Patriot to prevent Obama from staying in the White House. I might have been willing to walk on glass.

Now?

I would throw myself on a grenade to get Vice President Paul Ryan elected. Picking Ryan instantly doubled my enthusiasm as a tea-party activist.

Game on liberals. You campaign for your Obama, an abject socialist who does not understand economics -- much less gas prices and employment. I’ll proudly take Romney and Ryan, the dynamic duo who will save our county from your guy.

Usually I'd start with how teachers should be paid in line with their students grades, but for nowRead More I'll just suggest going to the .99 cent stores. You can get everything from 100 packs of #2 pencils to college ruled notebooks and binders, to pens and highlighters. We go there weekly and send boxes of school supplies, crayons and coloring books to our troops in Afghanistan to help them befriend the locals. The biggest score is cans of party string that usually go for $5. They spray it into a room and the streamers will hang on any tripwires without setting off the bomb. And try asking the store manager if corporate might be willing to throw in 2 for the price of one or a bakers dozen on highly stocked items if you can get several other teaches to also shop there. It never hurts to ask.
