We Fought the Good Fight

The Redlands Tea Party Patriots will not give up on the USA despite Tuesday's socialist victory.

I am so proud of the Redlands Tea Party Patriots and all my fellow conservatives who did their best to save our country from the socialists.

We lost. The country lost. But most importantly, our children lost.

As a nation, we defeated communism overseas. Time will tell whether we can defeat socialism at home. After Obama's victory, the forecast looks glum.

The fiscal cliff is coming. Our freedoms are dissolving. The debt is already insurmountable. Obamacare is here. But we're Americans, so we should find a way to endure.

At least for the time being.With prayers -- and buckets of them -- our resiliency will outlast the Obama administration. And, with even more prayers, maybe we could eventually find a path back to the days of self-reliance and American exceptionalism.

The Redlands Tea Party Patriots will resume in January and do our part to ensure those days return -- within our lifetimes.

Of course the various Tea Party groups across the nation aren't going to give up because of the Presidential election. The Tea Party's influence is being felt in local, regional and state elections across the country. Republicans now hold perhaps up to 33 governorships out of the 50 states and Romney won in around two-thirds of the cities across the nation. The Democrats rule the big cities, which means they drive the statewide and for the last two election cycles, the Presidency, but Tea Party and other conservatives being elected to local, regional and statewide offices are growing in number. Yes, there have been some mistakes, like a couple of Senate candidates and a couple of Senate candidates two years ago, but the conservative movement is growing and getting stronger. Can anyone imagine a few years ago a Mormon, a pretty conservative group of people, getting a candidate on a Presidential ticket and coming as close as Romney did this time? He came within one hurricane and one slobbering hug-fest couple of hours of Obama by a Republican(?) governor of New Jersey of winning the election. Tea Party groups are making mistakes, for certain, but they are also making inroads into all levels of politics in this nation. The Tea Party is conservative nation building from the bottom up. There just wasn't a strong enough foundation, not enough national election savvy to defeat the Daley Chicago Political Machine this time for the Presidency. Next time???

Great points Charles. The tea party movement's push for more conservatives has had wonderful effects on local and regional races. The effect of the tea party on the Redlands area was profound: We almost got Lane Schneider and Don Wallace in and we were instrumental about getting Gary Miller elected and Mike Morrell back into office. We look forward to helping them again in 2014.

So sad to see young and old Americans willing to give up their freedom. Republicans won't take away abortion (it can't change) but want to give alternative choices. Look what is going on - Republicans have more mom & Dad. Democrats with single parents with complicated situations. Republicans donate to charities than Democrats (fact). We like PREVENTION better than REACTION. Racist? We all have the right not like people because their behaviors and that is not "racism". Democrats think with their feelings and Republican think with our head - that's why ladies voted for cute Obama. I also had a crash on bad boy and got burned when I was teen...and my mother warned ahead. Things won't be easy for this nation next 4 years. Remember, it was YOUR Choice, not mine - so I don't want to hear you complaining. Can't blame on Bush anymore! I heard Democracy only last about 200 years - then to Socialism, finally dictatorship. America is already own by enemy China, Mexico owns California and told Obama to open the boarder. AND Democrats said "Please - take it!" Amazing..... This is not Democrat bashing - it is facts but Democrats will never admit: We are living in two different realities....

Please give me one example of someone who was non American who voted? Most of the election fraud committed was done by Republicans! Again, you Republicans are believing the crap spouted by FOX News. The Tea Party is dragging the GOP and if they were smart they would cut them loose, or continue to keep losing. But I guess you like losing.
