Jim Brulte, the chairman of the California Republican Party, will address the Redlands Tea Party Patriots in Mentone on Sept. 5.
A former state senator and assemblyman, Brulte has more than 25 years of full-time experience in California government. Several prominent publications have named Brulte as a top political player in the state.
Also speaking is Chris Mann, a 2014 Republican candidate for state Assembly District 42, which includes Yucaipa and Calimesa. Mann is the president of the Inland Empire Taxpayers Association.

Brulte and Mann will address the Redlands Tea Party Patriots at the Mill Creek Cattle Co., 1874 Mentone Blvd., Mentone. Doors to the Thursday night meeting open at 5:30 p.m. A no-host dinner precedes the two-hour meeting, which begins at 7 p.m. The meeting is free and open to the public.
