2 Accused of Armed Takeover Robbery of iPhones, iPads, Cash from ATT Store

The incident occurred at 28015 Greenspot just before the store closed on Feb. 18, Highland Station deputies said.

Two men were arrested Friday in Temecula and Victorville and accused of an armed takeover robbery Monday at the ATT store on Greenspot Road in Highland, sheriff's officials said in a news release.

The incident occurred at 28015 Greenspot just before the store closed on Feb. 18, Highland Station deputies said.

"A customer and several employees were ordered at gunpoint into a back room," deputies said. "One employee was taken to a storage area and order to give them all their iPhones and iPads, as well as money from the safe."

The suspects took the merchandise and money and left in a dark colored, newer model Chevrolet Camaro with paper license plates, deputies said.

Several hours later the Camaro was located in Loma Linda, and unspecified evidence was recovered that linked the vehicle to suspects Marcelles Green, 25, and Jarry Curtis Forrest, 28, deputies said.

Investigators executed search warrants and gathered more unspecified evidence, but they did not locate Green and Forrest until Friday, deputies said.

On Feb. 22, detectives with the sheriff's Specialized Enforcement Division located and arrested Forrest in Temecula and Green in Victorville, deputies said.

The men are suspected of a similar takeover robbery at the Radio Shack on East Highland Avenue in San Bernardino, on Feb. 9, deputies said.

"The vehicle used in this robbery, a Dodge Charger, was different than the Camaro used in the ATT robbery," deputies said. "When Green was arrested on Feb. 22, he was driving the Dodge Charger."

Sheriff's officials noted that Green was on AB109 release from prison, for an unspecified conviction.

Highland deputies and San Bernardino police were seeking more leads, and urged anyone with information or evidence to call investigators at (909) 425-9793.
