At least two people were injured -- one of them very seriously -- in a three-vehicle crash on the Interstate 10 in Calimesa, at the Riverside County line with San Bernardino County, authorities said.
The crash on the eastbound side, at the West County Line Road exit ramp, was reported just before 3 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
One person suffered major injuries and was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center, in San Bernardino County, the CHP reported.
According to the CHP, the vehicles involved were a silver SUV, a maroon Chevrolet Camaro and a Kia.
The other person suffered minor injuries, according to the CHP, but it was unclear whether that person was taken to a hospital.
