ANIMAL CONTROL: Redlands Woman May Have Set Cat's Tail on Fire

A Redlands woman is suspected of animal cruelty after a video of a cat's tail being set on fire was posted on her Facebook page, according to a CBS news report.

A woman is in trouble with authorities after a video of her reportedly setting her cat’s tail on fire was posted on Facebook, according to CBS Channel 2 News.

The news station reported that Animal Control officials identified the cat’s owner as Monica Ferreri, of Redlands. The report goes on to say that when criticized by Facebook friends, the woman defended the incident by saying that only a small bit of the cat’s fur was singed.

Not all the women’s friend were critical however, some were amused by the photo, according to CBS.
