Authorities Seek Help In Identifying Dead Man

A Latino male was found in a Redlands orange grove on July 27, but coroner's officials have yet to determine his name.

San Bernardino County coroner's officials are seeking the public's help in identifying a man found dead in Redlands.

A worker found the body about 11 a.m. on July 27 in an orange grove at Alabama Street and Pioneer Avenue. Redlands Police detectives confirmed the death, but all attempts to identify the decedent have been unsuccessful.

Police suspect the death is a suicide but coroner's have yet to determine a cause of death.

The man is described as being between 20- to 30-years old, 5-foot-4 and about 160 pounds. He had black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a red and black snap-down long-sleeved shirt with a black tank top underneath, Dickies brand black denim pants (size 38x30) and black and white tennis shoes.

The man had no tattoos.
