Bicyclist Arrested During DUI Checkpoint
Loma Linda Police conducted the operation Saturday as part of a Labor Day weekend crackdown.
One person was arrested for driving a bicycle while under the influence during a checkpoint set up in Loma Linda over Labor Day weekend.
The DUI checkpoint, set up Saturday on Redlands Boulevard, was part of area law enforcement agencies' "Drunk Driving, Over the Limit. Under Arrest." Program.
From 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., 536 vehicles traveled through the checkpoint. Fourteen people were cited, one vehicle was towed, and only the bicycle rider was arrested.
