Body Found in Car Missing Out of SB County
Victor Eduardo Mardueno was found shot to death in the trunk of a car.
Covina Police investigators say they found the body of a man in the trunk of a car that had been reported missing out of San Bernardino County.
The decomposing body of Victor Eduardo Mardueno, 25, was found about 7 p.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of East Wanamaker Drive in Covina, according to Assistant Chief Ed Winter of the coroner's office. He had been shot to death, coroner officials said.
The Toyota Camry Mardueno was found was registered to a 26-year-old man reported missing Sept. 23 to the Ontario Police Department, the Los Angeles Times reported. Ontario police could not immediately confirm the report.
