Body is That of Missing Loma Linda Woman, Officials Said

Karri Kordik is found 100 yards from where she left her car.

The search for a woman who had been missing since Monday came to a heartbreaking end Tuesday afternoon when authorities found her body near Forest Falls.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Search and Rescue Team found the body of Karri Kordik, 50, of Loma Linda, about 1:30 p.m. Her body was 100 yards north of the Big Falls parking lot where her Honda sedan was found abandoned.

Kordik’s family reported her missing on April 4. Loved ones told deputies they were concerned about her state of mind. Deputies who found the Honda said all her personal belongings were inside the car.
