Booking Photos Released of Burglary Suspects Linked to 7 Different Break-Ins

Held on $250,000 bail each were Michael Anthony Abarca, 19, of Redlands, Jeff Burton Gilkey II, 19, of Highland, and Frank Nicholas Brown, 34, of San Bernardino.

Booking photos were released Tuesday of three men linked by police to seven different burglaries in Redlands since Sept. 9.

The most recent burglary was reported "in-progress" before 11:30 a.m. Sunday Sept. 16 in the 1500 block of Karon Street, according to police.

Arrested on Sunday were Michael Anthony Abarca, 19, of Redlands, Jeff Burton Gilkey II, 19, of Highland, and Frank Nicholas Brown, 34, of San Bernardino.

They were eached booked on suspicion of burglary and possession of stolen property, Redlands spokesman Carl Baker said.

Abarca, Gilkey and Brown were held Tuesday at Central Detention Center in San Bernardino, where bail was listed at $250,000 each, according to inmate records.

Detectives interviewed the suspects and "were able to link them to at least six other break-ins since Sept. 9," Baker said.

Police listed the burglary locations as:

- in the 100 block of North Dearborn Street

- in the 1500 block of Clay Street

- in the 900 block of Frontier Avenue

- in the 600 block of of Grove Street

- in the 1500 block of Grove Street

- and a break-in at a foreclosed home in the 400 block of West Pioneer Avenue.

"In each of the burglaries, jewelry and home electronics were stolen," Baker said. Detectives were trying to locate more stolen property at local pawn shops, Baker said.
