Redlands City Council Candidate Forum Presented by Chamber of Commerce

Candidates running for two seats on the Redlands City Council have been invited to a forum Thursday presented by the Redlands Chamber of Commerce.

The forum is scheduled 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday Oct. 11 in council chambers at 35 Cajon St.

Six candidates are running for two seats, and every registered Redlands voter will be able to vote for two, according to the San Bernardino County Elections Office.

The candidates for Redlands City Council listed on the registrar's sample ballots are:

- Councilmember/business owner Pete Aguilar

- Small business owner Lane Schneider

- Fiscal analyst/businessman Mike Saifie

- Minister/businessman Don Wallace

- Retired accountant Pat Gilbreath

- Business owner Michael Layne

The forum will be aired live on Channel 3 and Verizon Fios channel 35, according to chamber officials.

"You are welcome to be in the audience and ask questions from the floor," chamber officials said in an announcement. "Questions that you wish to ask the candidates may also be emailed to chamberredlands@aol.com or sent to the Redlands Chamber Facebook page and will be presented to the candidates during the forum."
